DescriptionThree-story brick commercial building. Windows on the first and second floors are broken. Louvered shutters in dilapidated condition are at some windows. A measuring stick is near a drainpipe at the left. Three men stand on the worn stone steps and in the open doorway. Two men smoke pipes. One man wears a sleeveless jersey or undershirt. A man in a suit and a straw hat stands beside the shop window of the building at the right. An open window on the third floor has sheer curtains. The sidewalk appears to be comprised of stone slabs. The street is unpaved.
