NotesSubject Note: In 1919, Frank A. Hagarty, who served as Mayor of Hartford from 1916-1918, was treasurer of the Workingmen's Committee on Tubercular Relief. The check represents the proceeds of a harness race held at Charter Oak Park in West Hartford to benefit the tuberculosis fund.
