NotesSubject Note: Frank Whiting was from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He enlisted on August 1, 1862 and was mustered in to the Second Connecticut Volunteer Light Battery on September 10, 1862 as a Quarter Master-Sergeant. He was promoted to First Sergeant on February 14, 1863 and was promoted to Second Lieutenant on May 1, 1864. On January 31, 1865 he was promoted to First Lieutenant. He was mustered out on August 9, 1865. (Ruocco, 05/10/2012)
