He enlisted on September 2, 1861 and was mustered in to the Seventh Regiment Infantry Company K (Co. H according to the inscription on the photograph) as a First Sergeant on September 12, 1861. He was promoted on March 20, 1862 to Second Lieutenant. On July 11, 1863 he was promoted to First Lieutenant for Company F. He resigned on April 26, 1864 (Ruocco, 04/24/12)On View
