BiographyAnna Humphrey was born in 1758 in West Simsbury (now Canton), Connecticut, daughter of Captain Ezekiel and Elizabeth Pettibone Humphrey. She married Major Reuben Humphreys and they had 12 children. She lived in Connecticut until about 1801 when her husband relocated the family to Onondaga County, New York.
