BiographyLuke Horsfall opened for business as a hatter in 1871. In 1882, he went into partnership with William B. Rothschild opening the clothing store Horsfall & Rothschild at 93-99 Asylum Street in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1908, the company became The Luke Horsfall Company, and from 1934 until 1968 is was Horsfall's Incorporated.
