BiographyBarbara Senning was born on August 14, 1908 in Berlin, CT, a daughter of George and Mabel (Occupin) Senning. She worked as a legal secretary in Hartford before meeting and marrying her first husband, E. Gerrard "Rod" Spencer, at which time she joined him in his yacht brokerage and marine surveying business in Essex, CT. Rod died in 1978. She married her second husband, Walter Wright. Barbara died on April 21, 1996.
