BiographySamuel J. Tedesco was born on 21 February 1915 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He served as the 44th Mayor of Bridgeport from 1957-1965 and was the 96th Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut serving under John N. Dempsey from 1963-1966. He died on 5 August 2003 in Piedmont, California.
