Henry J. Blakeslee

BiographyHenry J. Blakeslee was born in Hartford, Connecticut 15 August 1876. He graduated from Trinity College in 1898 and went to work for the Hartford Electric Light Company. He later worked for the New England Association of Underwriters and the New York State Underwriters. In 1911, he founded the States Company in Hartford. He held forty patents on meter testing equipment. For the last fourteen years of his life, he lived in Marlborough, Connecticut, where he died in January 1941.
