BiographyRichard Foster Flint was born in Chicago in 1901. He attended the University of Chicago and then went on to earn his Ph.D. at the University of California in 1925. He then joined the faculty of Yale, becoming a full professor in 1945. He died in New Haven, Connecticut in 1976.
