DescriptionOvoid, thin-walled, light grey stoneware vase with a mottled, dark green glaze. The vase has a slightly flared rim, narrower neck, ovoid sides, and an inset bottom. The vase is glazed with a dark green, matte glaze with flecks of red and grey. The maker incised his name on the bottom of the vase, "Kelsey/ NORTH/ CANTon/ CONN". An "X" is inscribed in black ink or paint on the bottom. Remnants of a woven label are adhered to the bottom of the vase. There is fine crazing over all the glazed surfaces.
