DescriptionSquat, ovoid, thin-walled, light grey stoneware vase with a mottled purple, red, and blue glaze. The vase has a slightly flared rim, a narrower neck, curved sides, and an inset bottom. The vase is coated with a glossy polychrome glaze in purple, red, pink, and areas of blue. The maker incised his name, "Luman/ Kelsey", on the bottom of the vase. An "R7" is inscribed ink black ink or paint on the bottom. There is fine crazing over all the glazed surfaces of the vase.
