DescriptionOctagonal plate of buff-colored earthenware with a blue-tinted glaze, a type of ceramic known as pearlware. The rim of the plate is decorated with a translucent green glaze over impressed parallel lines that are about 3/8 inch long. There are three stilt marks on both the top and bottom surface of the plate. There is very fine crazing over all the surfaces of the plate, and a relatively short crack that runs from the rim toward the center of the plate.
