DescriptionPlain, round, earthenware dish with a yellow glaze, a type of ceramic known as yellowware. The sides taper from the widest point at the rim to the foot, before forming the flat bottom of the dish. There is crazing over all the surfaces, as well as accumulated dirt and spots of discoloration. There are seven areas on the bottom surface of the dish where the glaze shows impurities or interruptions caused by the manufacturing process.
