DescriptionThick, Chinese export porcelain bowl or slop bowl with underglaze cobalt blue decoration and brown enamel. The bowl has a circular form with vertical sides and a tall circular foot ring. The cobalt blue was spattered on, creating blue and white mottled surfaces on the inside and outside of the bowl. A line of brown enamel was added to the edge of the bowl.
