DescriptionGeorge Washington, an elderly man wearing a military uniform, is seated on a horse. He holds the reins in his left hand and raises his hat with his right hand. The horse stands with its right foreleg and left hindleg raised. In the background, soldiers stand beside a mounted cannon. Ranks of troops march towards the right. A leafless tree is nearby. It appears to be winter.
