NotesDate note: The clothing of the subjects suggest that the photograph was taken in the late 19th or early 20th century. This print is probably from a later date, possibly mid-20th Century.An accompanying letter from F. D. Cheney to Mr. Ward Cheney, dated February 5, 1954, says the following: "Dear Ward: / I am enclosing two prints of Annie W's house; one a dull / print and one a glossy print, which you would want in / case you have a cut made of it. If you wish any addition- / al copies we have a film here."
The Anne W. Cheney mansion is no longer extant.
