InscribedEach image is labeled with what appears to be the dimensions of the tapestry pictured.NotesDate note: The photographs were accompanied by a letter from R. W. Goslee to Mr. Frank D. Cheney, dated April 23, 1952. The photographs may have been taken prior to 1952, but not after. The message of the letter is as follows: "Attached herewith are two sets of photographs / of the tapestry that came out of the dining room / of the Anne Cheney house. The tapestry is in the / Engineering Department of the Main Office Building / in Manchester."
The Anne Cheney mansion is no longer extant.
