DescriptionView of three young men and a young woman with their faces in the windows of the Knight Dexter Cheney house in South Manchester, Connecticut. There are four window panes in a row, and one person is situated behind each. The first two panes are open. Clifford Dudley Cheney (1877-1948) is on the far left, with his arm around the neck of a dog which is perched with its paws on the window sill. Next is Theodora "Dora" Cheney (1874-1951), then Philip Cheney (1878-1948) and Thomas Cheney (1879-1916). Tom has a pipe in his mouth. They are all siblings.

This photograph is mounted on a piece of black album paper. There is a torn photograph mounted below it, depicting a young man wearing a fur coat and hat standing outdoors during winter. There is a thin border of another photograph on the right edge of the page, but no image. On the back is a picture of a grassy path between tall, flowering shrubs. There is a figure on the path, walking away from the camera.
