DescriptionHalf length studio portrait of Sherwood Alfred Cheney and Louise Delano Cheney. It is probably a wedding portrait. Sherwood sits on the right, wearing a military uniform. There is an eagle pin on his left shoulder, two bar pins over the front breast pocket, and a "U.S." pin on his collar. Louise sits in front of him, on the left. She is wearing a dark dress or blouse that has decorative embroidery around the neckline and on the sleeve. She is also wearing a long necklace. Her hair is cut short or is pulled back into an updo and she has bangs. Both of them are smiling and looking at the camera. There is a photographer's backdrop in the background.
