NotesSubject Note: Charles "Chuck" Matties of West Hartford served on the West Hartford Town Council for 18 years. He served as mayor of West Hartford, and also served as a state representative from the 20th district. He was with the 168th Engineers Combat Battalion and was a Prisoner of War. He died in July 2003 at age 79.
