DescriptionHalf-length portrait of a woman wearing a low-cut gown. The tightly fitted bodice has horizontal gathers at the top. A square brooch is pinned in the center. The sleeves have puffs and are trimmed with lace and bows. She wears a glove on her right hand. She wears an elaborate headress consisting of a head band trimmed with flowers, possibly artificial flowers, to which a veil is attached. A fluted column and drapery are in the background.
