DescriptionA three-quarter-length portrait of a young woman standing before a cheval mirror. She wears a wedding gown with a pelerine and balloon sleeves trimmed with lace. Her jewelry includes pearl bracelets on both wrists, and an additional bracelet on her left wrist, over the cuff of her dress. A brooch with a pendant pearl is pinned to the neckline of her dress. A smaller pin holds her pelerine or collar together. Another brooch or hair pin with pendant pearls is in her hair. She is in the process of putting a glove on her right hand. Drapery is in the background.
