DescriptionA young woman is seated at a piano or harpsicord. She wears a dress with a lace cape or pelerine and lace trim on the undersleeves. A ribbon is tied around her neck. She has a bracelet on her right wrist and holds a handkerchief in her right hand. She holds a bouquet of roses in her left hand. A landscape painting in a gilt frame hangs on the wall above a sofa at the left. Drapery held back by a cord is at the right. A patterned carpet is on the floor.
