DescriptionThree-quarter length portrait of two young women. Both wear shawls and dresses with lace-trimmed undersleeves. The woman at the right also wears a laced bodice. She holds a pigeon in both hands. A small sealed letter hangs around the pigeon's neck on a cord or ribbon. The woman at the left is leaning on the other woman's right shoulder. She is touching her chin with her right hand.
