DescriptionA young woman stands on a terrace or balcony overlooking a lake surrounded with trees. She wears a dress with a large lace collar or bertha, trimmed with a large bow. She wears a bracelet on her right arm and five small flowers in her hair. She holds a bird, probably a carrier pigeon, in her right hand. The pigeon holds a tiny letter. The woman holds a folded sheet of paper in her left hand.
