DescriptionGroup portrait of twelve men. Three are seated in the foreground. The rest stand in the background. One man has his arms and legs crossed. A man at the left holds a scroll of papers that reads "REPUBLIQUE FRANC[AISE]". His left hand rests on a table on which there are more papers. The top sheet reads: "ABOLITION [?]" The men wear coats, vests, neckties, trousers, and fringed sashes tied around their waists. Somemen have mustaches or beards.
