DescriptionGirl's blouse of sheer white cotton, woven with a design of dots, circles, and a floral motif. The blouse has a high, round neckline with a narrow turn-down collar embroidered with dots and with a scalloped edge. The shoulderline is dropped; the armscye is piped. The short sleeves are slightly gathered into the shoulder. It appears that the sleeves were once edged with a flounce, but the flounce has been cut off, leaving a heading of piping. The center front opening extends the length of the blouse. It fastens with five small, thread-covered buttons. The bottom of the blouse is edged with a 5 1/2-inch-wide flounce of sheer, white cotton, embroidered with dots and scalloped like the collar.
