DescriptionWoman's blouse of lightweight, white cotton. It has a high, round neckline with a 1 1/4-inch-high standing band collar edged with scalloped whitework embroidery. The center front opening fastens with ten thread-covered buttons on the body and two mother of pearl buttons on the 1 1/4-inch-wide waistband. The blouse is gathered into the waistband across the center front and center back. The shoulderline is dropped low. The full sleeves are gathered into the piped armscye and into narrow cuffs edged with scalloped whitework. The cuffs would have fastened with a stud, as there are two buttonholes. The fabric along the lower front is pieced.
