Description(.1) Four men sit in front of opened tent. They are dressed in uniforms with forage-type caps, and their gear can be seen hanging at the back of the tent. Other tents are visible in the background. They all wear what appear to be white neckerchiefs. These could be men serving with the Connecticut National Guard, 3rd Regiment, Company E.
(.2) The same four men stand in front of their tent holding their rifles. The man on the left wears an officer's chevron on his sleeve.
(.3) A close-up of three men in front of their tent. The center man is sitting, the other two are standing. The second man from the left wears an officer's chevron on his sleeve. A mattress can be seen on the floor of the tent.
