DescriptionWoman's chemisette of white cotton with a turn-down collar with rounded corners. The collar is edged with a one-inch-wide, self-fabric whipped ruffle. The center front opening is also edged on each side with a ruffle. The chemisette is 7 7/8 inches long in front, with a straight edge along the bottom; it is pointed at the center back, which is 5 3/4 inches long. It would have pinned in place, as evidenced by the numerous pin holes on the fabric.
