DescriptionWoman's work dress of white cotton, with woven diamond figure. The dress has an unfitted bodice, with a center front button closure. Four small, mother of pearl buttons are used. The collar is about 1 3/4 inches wide at the center back, gradually decreasing in width to the center front. It is edged with a 7/8-inch-wide whipped ruffle of plain-woven white cotton. The shoulderline is dropped, and the waist is at the natural level, about 10 inches long at the sides, under the armscye. The sleeves are long and full; they are gathered into the shoulder and into the cuff, which is shaped with a point and trimmed with a narrow ruffle along the seam with the sleeve. The armscye seams and waist seam are piped. The skirt is gathered evenly all around the waistline. The dress is entirely unlined. The hem is 1 1/2 inches wide.
