DescriptionView of a river from a small backwater or the mouth of small stream. A dead tree and rocks are in and around the water. Small birds fly across the surface of the water in the foreground. Additional birds fly over the river and in the sky in the background. Two small sailing vessels and a larger square-rigged vessel are on the river in the background. Steep rocky banks line the shore. Tree-covered hills are in the distance.
