DescriptionYoung boy's pants of white cotton sateen, with widely splayed legs. The leg openings are decorated with an embroidered scallop design worked in a chain-stitch. The pants are box-pleated into the 1 1/4-inch-wide waistband; the box pleats are top-stitched for about one inch, and then the fullness is released. The sides of the pants are open for 5 1/2 inches. Ten buttonholes worked into the waistband fasten the pants to the shirt.
