DescriptionInfant's long white cotton dress. It is plain, except for a whitework embroidered ruffle around the high, round neck and at the wrist openings of the sleeves. The neckline is bound with bias self-fabric. A strip of bias self-fabric is also stitched over the shoulder seams. The center back opening is ten inches long and fastens with two small buttons; one is mother of pearl and the other is white porcelain. The sleeves are cut like a coat sleeve, with a seam along the top and a seam under the arm.
