DescriptionPale pink satin slippers, with darker pink silk tape binding around throatline and covering side and back seams. The remnants of embellishment on the oval toes consist of metallic (probably once silver) sequins and coiled metallic embroidery thread. The silk is lined with plain-woven linen in the vamp and quarters, and with loosely-woven cotton on the sock lining. The slippers are straight and have a spring heel.
