DescriptionSlippers of gold-colored metallic tape lace (now tarnished), with an oval toe and Louis heel. The lining of the back of the shoe around the heel is covered in a coppery-gold-colored silk satin. The sock lining is covered in gold-colored satin. The leather covering the heel may also once have been given a metallic finish, but it is now discolored to a mottled tan/brown/black.
