DescriptionMichel Gautier sits on the steps of a log cabin. He wears laced-up boots, suspenders and a hat. Behind him to the right, there is a net with a long handle that is propped against the cabin wall, and two rags hang from the protruding ends of logs. The door to the cabin stands open directly behind him. A second man can be seen standing far to the left, at the end of the cabin porch.
