DescriptionMary Cheney sits on the front porch of a log cabin. Her feet rest on the ground, which is covered in large wood chips. She wears a shirt with a lace collar, a cardigan, and a skirt that has two rows of buttons down the front. Her shoes are laced. There is an article of clothing draped over her lap, which she appears to be mending. The door to the cabin is wide open behind her, and there is a wooden support beam next to her, to the right.
