DescriptionBird's-eye view poster of Hartford, Connecticut, and vicinity, oriented east-west so that the Connecticut River appears at the bottom of the sheet. The poster shows mostly green space, historical sites, and businesses in Hartford, Farmington, Wethersfield, Newington, and Windsor Locks. The logos and signs of most of the businesses are reproduced. Scattered across the poster are facts about some of the buildings, the physical geography, or the area's history. On the bottom of the sheet is a textual hsitory of the founding of Hartford from 1600 - 1784.
