DescriptionRound woven rush basket with hinged cover, or lid. Sides have a thin, dark wooden trim, attached by small nails. Two leather straps, attached by metal studs, encircle the basket, each with a decorative metal fixture on one end which connects to a metal ring on the other. Lid is a rectangular shape, attached to basket by three metal coils, at the center is a torn leather handle connected to straps by metal rings. Leather is worn and metal has some corrosion.
