DescriptionWhite kid leather boots, with button closure wrapping over the front and to the side. The buttonhole edge and top edge of the boots are decoratively scalloped; the boot toes are slightly square in shape. The shank buttons are covered in matching kid leather, as is the knock-on heel. Leather sole. The boots are lined with white twill-woven cotton.

MarkingsHandwritten in ink inside each boot, on the lining is: "1 [squiggle] B / 425." The right boot also has the old accession number, 1613, written in ink inside on the lining.
