DescriptionSix people are in a rowboat in the foreground. The Queen of England wears a crown, veil, robe, crucifix, and jewelry. Matilda wears the habit of a nun. A bearded man beside her has a crusader's cross on his cape. An Arab at the right wears armor and a turban and holds a simitar and its scabbord. Two other men in turbans row with oars at the left. Additional sailors in turbans are on a ship in the background.
