DescriptionWoman's pocket made of a dark blue cotton with a resist-printed pattern in pale blue of a diamond surrounded by an oval of dots. The 8 1/2 inch pocket slit is bound with this same fabric. The outer edges are turned to the inside. The top edge is bound with the print; the back of the pocket is plain brown cotton. Behind the slit, the back fabric is stitched with a strip of the blue fabric, so the face of the pocket looks solid. The original brown twill-woven cotton waist ties are torn off and only short pieces remain.
