DescriptionWoman's pocket made of neatly pieced squares of white dimity alternating with brown, tan, and blue prints. The patchwork is whip-stitched and backed with plain linen. The slit is 9 1/4 inches long and bound with a brown print. The back of the pocket is plain linen. The outer edges are turned to the inside and stitched, as is the top edge. Remnants of white cotton tapes are stitched to the upper corners.
