DescriptionA scene from the American Revolution: four men are shown standing in a forest. Major John Andre stands, bootless, with a sash in his hand. A man on the right holds the reigns of a saddled horse, while a man on the left is reading papers he has pulled from a boot at his feet. A third man holding a coat looks on. All three Americans hold muskets.
