Object number2010.105.1
InscribedOn recto, lower left, in black ink, "LEESVILLE"

On verso, in pencil, "Leesville Station"
NotesSubject Note: The body of water is probably the Salmon River.

Date Note: The photograph was part of a group of photographs of the aftermath of the Hurricane of September 1938. However, the absence of leaves on the trees at the right suggest that this photograph might instead depict the Flood of 1936, which occurred in March, when deciduous trees were leafless. Trees in the background appear to be primarily evergreens.
