DescriptionWoven striped muslin infant pinafore; the pattern is cut in a rectangle, with the top edge rolled over for a drawstring casing. The armholes are cut in semicircular slits, with the edges finished, so that a small wing is formed at the shoulder. This "wing" is edged with narrow eyelet trim. The fabric is tucked 5/8 of an inch below the bottom of the armhole for another drawstring casing around the body. It is finished with a half-inch hem at the bottom.
