DescriptionTurquoise-colored leather infant shoes. The front is slit for one inch, and each side of the slit is punched with two holes for lacing. The shoes are seamed at the sides only; these side seams come up from the middle of the shoe to between the eyelets, slanting forward slightly. The throatline and slit edges are edged with buff-colored leather. The toes are a broad, rounded square and there is no heel. The straight soles are brown leather. The uppers are lined with plain-woven white cotton. The sock linings (or innersoles) are white cardboard.
