DescriptionCream-colored silk satin ankle-high boots, with lacing on the inside of the ankle. The toes are a rounded square. The knock-on heel is covered with the satin; the top piece is held on with small brass nails. The boot uppers, which are seamed at center front and center back, are lined with plain-woven white glazed cotton. The lacing, which is slit into the fabric and bound with silk tape, has twelve pairs of holes, laced with cream-colored cotton plaited tape with tips of brass. The lacing is backed with a tongue of matching silk. The soles are made for right and left feet.
